Summer Camps
LDA-LR summer camps are designed specifically for students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. Camp staff will help our campers build confidence, self-esteem, and social connections. Camps will help minimize learning loss and gaps by teaching needed skills and strategies that lead to increased learning success. We offer day camp options throughout both July and August with a different skill-based learning element (theme) for each camp week.
Each camp week provides team building and social-emotional learning activities. Each day will include recreation time and other fun activities in the community such as swimming, kickboxing and some camp weeks include a special guest presentation. Summer camps at LDA-LR overall provide a little bit of learning and a whole lot of fun!
Please note: We cannot provide one-to-one behavioural support. In order for each child to benefit from our summer camp programs, every child must be able to work in a group session without demonstrating a need for one-on-one behavioural support.

Home Alone LD and Me
This program is designed to help children with LD/ADHD be safe when alone at home, before and after school.

Tech Discovery Camp
This camp gives campers the opportunity to practice their computer skills, typing skills, and explore the different uses of assistive technology.

Reading Camp
This camp aims to help improve reading skills by focusing on fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.

Stepping Stones to High School
This program provides LD/ADHD students with activities, strategies and interventions that will help them as they move to secondary school.

**Camp drop off is between 8:30am-9:00am and pick up is between 3:30-4:00pm.
Summer Camp Registration
Camp Registration for Summer 2024 is coming soon! Please keep in mind that limited spots are available and they are filled as per “first come, first served” basis.
Once you have your spot confirmed by our LDA-LR team, details on how to make a payment will be sent to you via email.
At LDA-LR, we do not want our fees to act as a barrier to any family registering for our programs. During the intake and registration for program phase, our staff would be pleased to discuss with you the option of reducing or waiving fees.
If your child is a new client seeking information about our programs/services for children, youth, parents and families please click on the button below to complete the new client intake form. Please be prepared to include documents that are being requested throughout the form (assessment documentation, IEPs, report cards). We will contact you to discuss the programs and services you are interested in as well discuss any questions you may have.
If your child is a returning client registering for our programs/services for children and youth please click on the button below and proceed to complete the returning client registration form. Please be prepared to include documents that are being requested throughout the form (updated IEPs and report cards). Once your registration has been processed, an email of confirmation will be sent to you.
Summer Camp Payment Options
Once you have your spot confirmed by our LDA-LR team, you can then proceed to make payment.
*Please note that the fees listed below include PayPal service fees
